Mission of the role

As Store Manager, you hold ultimate responsibility for the store’s commercial performance, team development, and brand experience. You approach the store as your own business, represent the brand in an inspiring way, and create a customer-focused, warm, and results-driven environment where the brand identity is felt in every detail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Daily Management

  • Take full ownership of a well-organized, profitable, and commercially driven store operation.

  • Set priorities, delegate responsibilities, and ensure clear planning and structure.

  • Create and manage the staff schedule efficiently.

  • Monitor cash flow, stock management, and ensure local execution of strategic guidelines.

  • Proactively identify and leverage local opportunities to boost performance and sales.

2. Customer Experience & Commercial Execution

  • Place the customer at the center of every decision and ensure the brand experience is tangible at every touchpoint.

  • Build strong, personal relationships with loyal customers and drive customer retention.

  • Analyze sales results and customer behavior, translating insights into concrete actions.

  • Organize in-store initiatives or events in collaboration with the head office to enhance visibility and performance.

  • Ensure an exceptional level of service, deep product knowledge, and an inspiring in-store presentation.

3. Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and motivate the team with a positive, coaching approach.

  • Encourage growth, independence, and ownership among all team members.

  • Foster a positive work atmosphere where collaboration and results go hand in hand.

  • Actively attract, develop, and retain engaged and motivated employees.

4. Communication & Collaboration with Head Office

  • Serve as the main point of contact for team members, internal departments, and external partners.

  • Maintain open, transparent, and two-way communication between the store and head office.

  • Contribute actively to improving processes, service quality, and overall store performance.

5. Process Management & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure internal guidelines and brand standards are consistently followed.

  • Safeguard continuity, efficiency, and quality across all operational processes.

  • Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements for sustainable growth and professionalism.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales performance vs. target

  • Conversion rate and Units Per Transaction (UPT)

  • Staff cost as a percentage of sales (scheduling efficiency)

  • Customer satisfaction / Mystery shopper score

  • Team turnover and absenteeism rate

  • Store audit / Visual merchandising score
