(Junior) Buyer
The (Junior) Buyer plays a critical role in managing the procurement and planning of collections, ensuring alignment with sales targets, brand strategy, and market trends. This position requires strong collaboration with internal teams to optimize stock levels, improve turnover rates, and drive sales performance across all A+N channels. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional results.
1. Re-Orders Management:
Oversee and manage re-orders for A+N collections across all sales channels and entities
Maintain optimal stock levels by analyzing sales performance, market demand, and trends
Ensure timely and efficiënt replenishment to support business goals
2. Order Shaping and Capacity Planning:
Develop and maintain a capacity plan aligned with production timelines and sales forecasts
Shape purchase orders strategically to balance demand and supply, minimizing risks
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution
3. Collection Analysis:
Conduct detailed performance reviews of new collections, including pricing, sales potential, and market feedback
Use insights to make data-driven recommendations for future collections and assortment planning
4. Sales Events and Collaborations:
Drive initiatives for sales events, collaborations, pop-ups, and brand activations
Partner with marketing and retail teams to maximize the impact of these initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on sales and market data
Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with a proactive approach to managing priorities
Expertise in capacity planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting deadlines
Proficiency in retail planning software and advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Its Perfect) and Power BI is a highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or a related role
Experience in a multi-channel retail environment is a plus
You are available for 40 hours a week
You are proficient in Dutch and English in both spoken and written
